2. Subscribing to the TradingView Add-on #
Before connecting Tradovate to TradingView via PickMyTrade, you’ll need to enable the TradingView add-on in your Tradovate account. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your Tradovate Web Trader account.
- Click on Application Settings in the top-right corner.

- In the Add-ons tab, scroll down to locate the TradingView Add-on.

- Click Buy to purchase the add-on for $9.99/month.
3. TradingView Add-on Details: #
This add-on enables access to your Tradovate accounts (both Live and Demo) through TradingView. While no additional order routing fees apply, you must have an active TradingView subscription. Once enabled, you can connect TradingView to your Tradovate account using your Tradovate credentials.

4. Connecting to Your Tradovate Account on TradingView #
Once you’ve subscribed to the TradingView add-on, follow these steps to connect Tradovate to TradingView:
- Log in to TradingView using your TradingView credentials.
- In TradingView, go to the Trading Panel tab at the bottom of the screen. Select Tradovate from the list of available brokers.

- Enter your Tradovate username and password, select either Live or Demo trading, and click Connect.
If you’re using an Evaluation Service that provides TradingView access, log in with your evaluation account credentials instead of your Tradovate details.

Once connected, your Tradovate account will sync with TradingView, and any active Tradovate market data subscriptions will apply to your TradingView charts.
5. Important Notes for PickMyTrade Users #
- Market Data Subscription Required:
- A Tradovate data subscription is necessary to trade using TradingView through PickMyTrade. Without this, orders may be rejected with the error:
“Non-tradable symbol: You can’t trade this symbol xx:xx at TradingView via Tradovate.” - If you have an active TradingView data subscription, you can cancel it if desired.
- A Tradovate data subscription is necessary to trade using TradingView through PickMyTrade. Without this, orders may be rejected with the error:
- Evaluation Services Support:
- If your Evaluation Service provides TradingView access, log in with your evaluation account credentials in the Trading Panel instead of your Tradovate account credentials.
- Feature Limitations with PickMyTrade Integration:
- The Group Trade feature is not available via TradingView and must be managed directly within the Tradovate platform.
- Google Sign-in and Apple Sign-in are not compatible with TradingView. If your Tradovate account uses these sign-in methods, you’ll need to unlink your social login and create a standard Tradovate username and password for TradingView access.
- OCO Orders cannot be applied to open positions in TradingView. These must be placed before entering a trade or managed directly from the Tradovate platform.
- Bracket Orders can only be attached to entry orders placed through the Order Panel in TradingView. Market orders placed directly from the chart cannot have brackets applied.
- Profit/Loss Display:
- Estimated profit/loss values will not appear on TradingView charts for Tradovate accounts, unlike TradingView Papertrade accounts.
- Delayed Data for Free TradingView Users:
- If you are using TradingView without a paid subscription, you may experience a 5-second delay in your charts, even if you have live data via Tradovate.
